The Floating Island

The party reached the monastery: a vast floating island deep in the Furnace Mountains, built -- as they discovered -- on a crashed ship from another plane. Its inhabitants call it the Monastery of the Tormented Body, a cult led by a bone devil calling himself the Grootmeester.

Below the monastery, corridors wind through the ship's hull, eventually leading to the Control Room -- full of brains in jars, the preserved minds of Kwalius's expedition members. The party convinced several of them to help:

• Dunstan remotely disabled the Grootmeester's teleportation bracers.
• The others pointed the way toward the reactor room.
